Average class size is approximately 15-20 students. 4 Year Old Pre - Kindergarten averages approximately 20 students. 5 Year Old Kindergarten averages approximately 20 students.
Sacred Heart Catholic School currently serves 93 students in grades from Pre-Kindergarten through 5th.
Sacred Heart Catholic School does not hold a waiting list from year to year.
Currently enrolled students re-register first. Then any siblings of currently enrolled students are next; followed by general open registration.
All our students (including Pre-K) wear uniforms. There is a variety of uniform clothing that can be worn depending on the time of year. Dress uniforms are required on Mass days. The schools office can assist you in sources to purchase clothing.
No. Should you or your child not wish to attend Mass, we ask that they arrive at 9:00am on Mass days. No instructional time will be missed.
Sacred Heart Catholic School students attend a school Mass every Thursday morning at 8:15 a.m. Students also attend Mass on Holy Days of Obligations when school is in session.
We have a fully staffed cafeteria. Parents may choose to buy cafeteria lunches or the students may bring lunches from home.
We have a fully structured physical education program. Our students participate in group sports throught the community but there is no Sacred Heart Catholic School league.
Sacred Heart Catholic School follows the state requirements. Students must be four years old on or before September 1. This September 1 date also applies to students entering 5 Year Old Kindergarten and Grade 1.
Application packages are mailed out the third week of April and the application period ends mid May. Applications are open the community at large begining mid May and again in mid August.
