Catholic Schools Week is starting today... you can get a copy of the daily event schedule HERE.  The proceeds of the Penny War will be donated to the Cornelio Ramirez Kidney Fund, which was voted on by the students.  Cornelio is slated to receive a kidney transplant, hopefully later this year, and is in need of donations to help pay for the cost of this and related expenses.  You can also make a donation directly to the fund through his website: www.akidneyforcornelio.com

Smith's is once again conducting the Earn & Learn program, in which they will donate up to $1,000,000.00 to participating schools.  The percentage that SHCS could receive will be based on the number of local consumers who "link" their Smith's Rewards card to our school, and the amount of puchases made using the card.  You can print out THIS LETTER to read all the details, and take it in to Smith's so they can scan the bar code with your Reward's card to link your purchases.  We hope you will support our school in this great program from Smith's!!  Thank You!

Sacred Heart Catholic School is the only Catholic School in all of San Juan County, and on October 3, 2010 we celebrated our 100th Anniversary! We are happy to announce that for the 2011-12 school year, and beyond, we will regain official "Parochial School" status under the authority of the Diocese of Gallup, and the direction and spiritual guidance of Father Tim Farrell, Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish.
